Firefighters called to rescue dog from river mud
FIREFIGHTERS were called to rescue a dog after it was reported to be stuck in mud in a river - only to find it was on the river bank.
Humberside Fire & Rescue Service said the crew retrieved the dog and left it in the care of the RSPCA after the incident in Hook Road, Goole.
