The Stamford Bridge Singers
THE Stamford Bridge Singers will perform a concert of Advent music and readings at York’s Bar Convent next month.
Their return visit, entitled ‘Come, Thou Long Expected Jesus,’ will take place in the Chapel of the convent in Blossom Street at 7.39pm on Friday December 1, said spokeswoman Rosemary Downey.
She said the conductor will be Stuart Nettleship and accompanist Geoffrey Coffin and tickets costing £12, to include a glass of wine and mince pie, are available from the Bar Convent by going to www.bar-convent.org.uk or by phoning 01904 643238.
