A WOMAN has been treated for suspected carbon monoxide poisoning in an East Yorkshire town.
Humberside Fire & Rescue Service said firefighters went to a property in Moorland Road, Old Goole, at 10am today following a report of a carbon monoxide alarm sounding.
A spokesman said there was no alarm sounding upon the fire crew's arrival and the premises had been naturally ventilated.
He said the woman was given oxygen therapy for suspected carbon monoxide poisoning, and left in the care of paramedics.
