POLICE have charged a protestor after she allegedly glued herself to the entrance gate to a North Yorkshire fracking site.
The woman, aged 39, was arrested yesterday and has been charged with hindering lawful business following the incident in Habton Road, Kirby Misperton.
Police officers removed her from the gate before the glue set, and arrested her at about 10.40am.
She will appear at York Magistrates Court in January next year.
Seventy people have now been arrested in connection with protest activity at Kirby Misperton since September 2017, of whom 63 have been charged, cautioned or remain under investigation.
