LOTTE Inch Gallery is to mark both the end of the year and the second anniversary of the gallery opening in Bootham, York, with the exhibition A Few Of Our Favourite Things.

This "exciting and enticing" show will run from Friday until Christmas Eve, presenting a selection of Lotte's favourite pieces handpicked from artists working across all disciplines.

"The exhibition will offer up work by those new to the gallery, alongside some of our regular stars," she says. "Showcasing prints by paper-cut artist Rob Ryan and collages and assemblages by newcomer Joanne Hummel-Newell, we also will be exhibiting ceramics by Kathryn Sherriff, Becki Mackenzie and Rebecca Callis; new jewellery by Italian duo Ortiz-Gadler, as well as small prints from Jacqueline Quinn and Dorrie King, amongst others."

A Few Of Our Favourite Things will see Lotte's gallery filled with colour and warmth against the grey of winter. "There will be plenty of items to add to your Christmas list," she says.

"Festive workshops provided by Alice Maynard, of The Outside In/The Inside Out, plus extended opening hours on Sundays, from 11am to 3pm, mean that there is more reason than ever to visit this upbeat, seasonal show."

An opening reception will take place on Friday from 6pn to 8.30pm.
