A VAN has crashed into a house at the bottom of a steep hill in East Yorkshire after the driver apparently lost control.
The accident happened today (Monday, November 13) on the A166 near Stamford Bridge, near the foot of Garrowby Hill.
The vehicle caused damage to the house but it is understood nobody was seriously injured.
A local resident said this was just the latest in a series of accidents in the area.
