PRIORY captain Di Moreland closed on 110 - with treble 20, 18, double 16 - to secure match points for Priory in their York John Smith's Ladies' League division one victory at Burnholme.

That checkout came in the first pairs match playing alongside Lynn Noble. Both players, along with Babs Harrison and Clair Cooper, had won in the singles to set up the victory.

Sarah Jackson and Sharon Neads were Burnholme's victors.

Captain Faye Hawksby threw a 24-dart leg to give Marcia the lead against Tramways 'A' but the leaders struck back to win 8-3.

Tracey Farmeary had a 20-darter for Ways and, with Lauren Farmeary, gamed in 24 in the pairs.

Second-placed Fulfordgate beat Severus 'A' in the team games after the singles had ended all square. Michelle Britton hit a 180.

Castle Howard Ox saw off Edinburgh Arms, who were a player short, 9-2.

Anne Bass, Karen Garton, Dawn Stamp and Toni Smallwood had the match sewn up in the singles, Donna Lyons getting the sole reply before teaming up with her captain, Chris Lamb, to get Arms' other point.

Jody Hancock closed with a ton as division two leaders Slipper saw off Burton Stone. Marianne Deamer got Burton's only singles point and was joined by Elaine Metcalfe in the pairs to add to their tally.

Puss n Boots kept Slipper in sight as they won 6-3 at Saddle Inn.

Gemma Coulson, Sandra Flintoft and Lisa Russell gave the visitors a good start and, although Sharon Lyons, Sharon Nelson and Alex Nelson levelled, Puss lapped up the remaining games.

Tramways ‘B’ raced into an unassailable lead against an understrength Leeman ‘A’. Jackie Gray broke Leeman's duck, with Margaret Yeomans/Debbie Witts adding another point in the pairs.

Mollie Carlton, Wendy Sullivan and Nikki Johnson won for Ways.

Lisa Benton checked out on a two-dart 76 as Clockhouse beat Clifton Hotel.

Zoey Chadwick, Rose Gray and Ellie Rankeillor won further singles points and, while Cris Turgoose and Angela Fletcher replied, with Sarah Evans/Linda Turgoose narrowing the margin in the pairs, Gray/Benton secured match points for House with a 25-dart leg.

The league's pairs competition is at Tramways on Tuesday, November 21, starting at 8.15am.
