A HEALTH group has extended the consultation period regarding the prescribing of gluten-free foods and will host an event to discuss the proposals.
The consultation, regarding proposals to replace prescribing of gluten-free foods with a top-up card scheme, will now run until 5pm on Friday, November 24.
A public drop-in session to discuss the proposals, which include only giving the top-up card to the most vulnerable patients, will be held from 6pm to 7pm on Wednesday, November 22 at West Offices.
