SIX months on from an alleged kidnapping which led to an armed police raid, four men remain under investigation.
Armed police raided a house in Tang Hall Lane at just after 9am on Tuesday, April 25, after a man was allegedly forced into a car and driven away.
North Yorkshire Police officers forced entry to a property, and arrested four men on suspicion of kidnapping, after a man was said to have been forced out of his car and put into another by three men in York the previous afternoon.
Three men were arrested on suspicion of kidnap, one of whom was also arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs. A fourth man was arrested in connection with the supply of Class A drugs.
All four were later released under investigation. A police spokeswoman said yesterday there had been no update, and the investigation was ongoing. Anyone with information should phone police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111, quoting reference 12170070342.
