CHILDREN at a primary school in York have created their own guys for their upcoming bonfire.
Each year, pupils at Clifton Green Primary School make a team of dummies to display at the school’s bonfire celebration. This year’s theme has seen pupils design guys to look like characters from their favourite books, with some of this year’s guys including Harry Potter, Roald Dahl’s The BFG, the Scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz, The Gruffalo and The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
This year’s bonfire celebrations at the school will be held on Monday, November 6, between 5.30pm and 8pm, and the public can decide which of this year’s selection will go on top of the bonfire. To see them all and have your say, go to facebook.com/cliftongreenprimary.
