A SHOP assistant was told she would be stabbed during a row in a Tang Hall Co-op store.
Police are trying to trace the two men in CCTV after the incident at 6.15pm on Thursday.
One man filled an ASDA carrier bag with beef joints worth more than £50, but when he was challenged by a member of staff in her 60s, the man grabbed the bag and verbally threatened to stab her before running out of the store.
The other man picked up two bottles of Smirnoff Vodka worth nearly £30 from a box on the shop floor and walked out of the store with the bottles without making any attempt to pay.
