POLICE have recovered two cars after receiving multiple calls regarding a group of vehicles allegedly racing and driving anti-socially to the west of York.
The two cars have been examined and a total of more than 20 defects were found between them, including on tyres, brakes and lights, a spokesman for North Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Group said.
The spokesman added: "Both have been issued immediate prohibition notices and must be repaired and tested before being driven on the road.
"The drivers can expect court appearances for numerous offences."
If you witnessed this incident which police believe was predominantly in the Copmanthorpe and Rufforth areas, and have not yet contacted them, phone 101 and ask for TC1113 Dean Turner.
