THE A19 Easingwold bypass will be closed overnight for two weeks from Monday, November 6.
The road is closing for repairs to Lund Leys Bridge, which carries the Raskelf to Easingwold road and was damaged when an excavator being transported on the A19 hit a steel beam.
The road will be closed 7pm-6am and traffic will be diverted through Easingwold. One lane will be closed on the bridge with traffic lights 24 hours a day. Work should be finished by November 21. More details at www.roadworks.org.
