THE Sheriff Hutton Jumblies latest event raised £2,400 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA).
The Jumblies work alongside many groups to raise money for village organisations, as well as local and national charities, through their jumble sales.
Penny Bean, from the Jumblies, said: “We would like to thank everyone for the jumble, cakes and cash donations, and all those who helped in many ways both on the day and leading up to the event.”
The next jumble sale will be on Saturday, October 21, at Sheriff Hutton Village Hall, from 2pm to 4pm, in aid of Marie Curie Support.
