WORK to replace a flood-blighted bridge by a North Yorkshire industrial estate is progressing well, according to the county council.
The work at Dalton, near Thirsk, started in June and a new embankment has already been completed. The contractor has left the site to let the road embankments settle, but should be back around late November to start work again on approach roads and the new bridge over Cod Beck, the council added.
The new road is expected to open in March next year, with all works complete three months later.
