Police outside the YACRO building, in Walmgate
A MAN has been arrested after he was found carrying a knife.
A police van and two police BMWs were parked outside the York Association for the Care and Resettlement of Offenders (YACRO) building in Walmgate at 8pm today.
Officers could be seen going into the building, which houses those recently released from prison.
North Yorkshire Police said one man in his 20s was arrested for possession of a knife, but no-one was injured.
