Police appeal after 2 mountain bikes stolen
TWO mountain bikes, together worth nearly £500, have been stolen following a break-in.
Police were contacted at 4.15pm on Tuesday, October 3 to a report of a burglary from a padlocked outbuilding at a property in Rievaulx.
Two mountain bikes were taken - a red and black men's Giant mountain bike worth approximately £150, and a black Specialised Rockhopper men's bike worth around £300.
Two jackets worth approximately £200 were also taken.
Police said: "Anyone with any information or any witnesses who could assist the investigation are asked to contact police on 101 and quote reference 12170177465.
"Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111."
