COMMUTERS who use Blue Bridge in York are being warned they will have to find another way home tonight.
The combined foot and cycle bridge over the River Foss closes at 9.30am today until midnight at the end of October 22.
The three-week closure is for the bridge’s timber deck to be replaced and for other repairs.
The work starts nine months after inspectors warned its condition was so bad immediate action was needed.
