Fire crews extinguish chimney fire
FIRE services have extinguished a chimney fire at a property near Malton and Norton this afternoon.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue got the call at 12.41 to an address on Northstead, Duggleby.
Crews from Malton fire station attended.
They extinguished the chimney fire using a hearth kit, a nine-metre ladder, a roof ladder and other gear for working at height.
