SHOPPERS are invited to hunt for a bargain, while raising money for charity, at an event in York.
St Leonard's Hospice is holding a charity sale in St Crux Parish Hall, in Pavement, on October 5.
Showcasing stock from the St Leonard’s charity shop in Tang Hall, stalls will feature donated second hand goods such as books, CDs, DVDs, handbags, jewellery, toys and bric-a-brac.
Also on sale will be the new 2017 hospice charity Christmas cards, and the new 2018 diaries and calendars.
Staff, volunteers and customers from the shop, in Fourth Avenue, will be running the stalls as well as providing refreshments and snacks.
Tang Hall shop manager Sue Bonarius said: "Come along and support the hospice and grab some bargains while you’re at it. We’ll be showcasing some fantastic Autumn/Winter stock, all at great prices as always. We’re hoping for good weather but are serving hot drinks and soup to warm people up, as well as lots of home baking and sandwiches."
The gates will open at around 9am and will close at 4pm.
