Call to report suspicious activity
YORK North Safer Neighbourhood Team is reporting a spike in tool thefts from vehicles and premises.
The latest areas to be hit are Bransholme Drive and Redmires Close in Rawcliffe.
The police are warning the public to be aware and report any suspicious behaviour by calling 101 and if a crime is in progress to ring 999.
Anyone with information should also call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
