A GUN club must keep the noise down after it lost a court case against Hambleton District Council.
Acoustic experts agreed with complaints by a neighbour to the Duke of Wellington Gun Club, based near Northallerton, that its events were too noisy, and the council served a noise abatement notice on the club.
Northallerton magistrates have now dismissed the club's appeal against the notice.
