A GROUP of 10 disabled people, including a man from York, have completed a coast-to-coast bike ride.
They cycled nearly 200 miles from Barrow-in-Furness, in Cumbria, all the way to Scarborough over the course of four days.
The group, which included Jamie Wood from York, who has multiple sclerosis, were all riding with the charity Empowered People, which aims to put the fun and excitement back into the lives of people with disabilities through the power of cycling. Accompanied by able-bodied support riders, the team of disabled riders used bikes that have been specially adapted for their needs.
