A FLU clinic will open later this month at Helmsley Medical Centre for all registered patients.
Patients aged 65 and over, pregnant women, and anyone suffering from heart disease, kidney disease, diabetes and asthma are entitled to a free flu vaccination from 9am to 11am.
Children’s vaccines will not available until mid-October, with the medical centre urging parents to wait for further information from the surgery.
No appointment is necessary and the vaccines will not run out early in the session, so patients are advised to make use of the session.
