VOLUNTARY and community groups around Harrogate have been given more than £30,000 from the borough council’s small grants scheme.
This year, the tenth in which the scheme has run, will see money going to village halls, school groups, nature reserves, sports clubs, and a therapy and wellness centre which helps people with mental health problems. The groups area all invited to a celebration at Harrogate’s Mercer Art Gallery this month.
