I TRAVELLED home from work by bus on Saturday night and I got off at Piccadilly only to be greeted by the sight of three young men urinating in full public view by the side of the Pavers shop.
I walked on through town through vomit on the pavement, half-full beer glasses, takeaways, discarded soiled clothing, gum, cigarette butts etc. I did not see one police officer.
My son has recently returned from Beijing, where the streets are immaculate and such behaviour would not be tolerated.
Does my council tax pay for cleaning up after these revellers?
