SINCE Utopia ceased trading residents of Naburn no longer have a bus service.
To get to York by public transport we now have to walk to Bishopthorpe along the cycle track or walk to the designer centre, both being a distance of a couple of miles.
North Yorkshire County Council have temporarily provided a bus to York for their residents living in Cawood, Stillingfleet etc to go to work, visit their doctor or dentist etc.
This bus has just passed by my window but does not stop in our village as we are residents of the city of York.
Please can City of York Council work with NYCC in order that this essential bus service is restored as quickly as possible.
