BRIDLINGTON'S Park and Ride will be running this Bank Holiday Weekend and anyone visiting the seaside town by car is being encouraged to use it to avoid queues.
With regeneration work in the town centre Hilderthorpe Road is down to a single lane of traffic, so town authorities say the park and ride near South Cliff Caravan Park is the "hassle free" option for drivers.
The car park space for 1,000 vehicles, and all day parking costs £4. Five people then get free use of land train or bus services to get into town.
The park and ride site is open from 7am until 8pm, further information at www.eastriding.gov.uk.
