A COUPLE have appeared in court accused of having firearms and supplying Class A drugs.
Percy and Coralena Smith, both 46, of Ryedale Caravan site, Water Lane, York, are accused of distributing a low quantity of heroin in York, owning a handgun and seven hollow point cartridges, which were adapted to expand on impact.
Coralena Smith is also accused of trying to conceal £68,461 and 860 Euros in a property in Burtree Avenue, Skelton.
The pair appeared at York Magistrates Court along with Nathaniel Smith, 25, of Ryedale Caravan site, who is accused of supplying heroin.
Daniel Patrick Baxter, 52, of Wilberfoss Avenue, York, and a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were also in court with the family accused of supplying heroin.
District Judge Adrian Lower told all five defendants their next appearance will be at York Crown Court on September 22.
