A MALTON logistics firm has scored a top industry award and joined an elite group of transport companies.
Ward Bros Ltd, part of Europe’s palletised freight network Palletways, has received a coveted Platinum Club Award for delivering “fantastic levels of service and operational excellence”.
The awards are organised every year by Palletways to recognise proficient members in its UK network.
Dave Walmsley, managing director at Palletways UK, said: “We would like to congratulate Ward Bros Ltd for achieving some of the best results in our UK network this year."
“Our goal is to provide our customers with a fast, efficient and reliable service, and the Platinum Club Awards demonstrates our strong network of members that continues to deliver the top class service in palletised freight.”
Ward Bros Ltd joins an elite group of more than 29 UK logistic companies who have achieved the award.
Steve Ward, director at Ward Bros Ltd, said: “The Platinum Award means a lot to Ward Bros Ltd as it is a fitting?tribute?to all the?hard work?and continued achievements throughout the year. It is testament to how focused every one of our colleagues is on providing the best possible customer service to our customers.”
Ward Bros Ltd is one of about 400 members of Palletways’ European distribution network, all independent transport operators which share their resources to deliver small consignments of palletised freight.
