Fire crews brought three down from tree
FIREFIGHTERS from Huntington were called to help a 13-year-old girl who was stuck about eight metres up a tree in Windsor Drive, Wigginton.
When the fire crew arrived at about 4pm on Saturday afternoon, they found two men who had been out walking their dogs and had heard the girl shouting for help, had become stuck too.
The firefighters used a nine metre ladder to rescue the girl and help the men.
At the request of the RSPCA, a York crew rescued a cat trapped on a roof in Wigginton Road on Saturday at around 6pm.
