The Lord Mayor of York Cllr Barbara Boyce Picture Frank Dwyer
HEWORTH Community Summer Fair will be opened by the Lord Mayor Cllr Barbara Boyce at the Shoulder of Mutton on Heworth Green at 2pm on Saturday, August 26.
The Lord Mayor and Sheriff Jill Brian will attend and open the free event.
It includes a bouncy castle, face painting, childrens' games, live music, food, tombola and a raffle.
Funds raised will benefit Tang Hall Primary School's Nursery and a collection for York Foodbank.
