A WOMAN suffered a sexual assault in Wooden Hill Lane, Romanby, Northallerton.
The woman was walking along the lane close to kennels at the back of the football field when a man walked past her and touched her through her clothing, between 6.30pm and 7.15pm on Sunday, August 13.
North Yorkshire Police said a 19-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and appeared before Harrogate Magistrates' Court on Tuesday. He was remanded and will appear at Teesside Crown Court on September 11.
