A PHOTOGRAPHER and York supply teacher has opened an exhibition of work at the Sutton Bank National Park Centre, in the North York Moors National Park.
Matt Hillier’s first exhibition comprises 20 images of Helmsley and will run until September 11 from 9am to 5.30pm.
Mr Hillier is a freelance photographer, as well as a primary school supply teacher in York, and a property photographer for an estate agent.
He said: “I feel very excited to see my images adorning the walls at the centre, which is visited by thousands of people over the summer break.
“The gallery and exhibition programme the National Park run is entitled “Inspired By...”, with featured work taking its inspiration from the National Park
“I’ve always felt inspired by the area - my brother and I would have Famous Five-style holidays at my grandparents’ cottage over in Harwood Dale every summer growing up, and I always knew one day I would live here.”
The images include shots of the Moors and East Coast and prices start from £45.
