TICKETS are on sale for a popular beach angling competition taking place in the East Riding for the 25th time next year.
The Paul Roggeman European Open Beach Championships run between Friday, February 9 to Sunday, February 11, along the coast between Spurn Point and Bridlington. As part of the 25th anniversary celebrations, there is a prize fund totalling more than £35,000 and surprise giveaways to be announced.
The event, renamed after its founder Paul Roggeman after he passed away in 2015, attracts more than 1,000 anglers each year.
