YORKSHIRE Fossil Festival is back from September 22-24 at the Rotunda Museum in Scarborough.

The programme will include dinosaur footprint walks, T-Rex dinosaur walkabouts, rock pooling along the coast and many more activities.

Geology experts and scientists will share their knowledge and new discoveries and family-friendly activities include exploring interactive displays.

There will be storytelling with Adrian Spendlow and soapbox science chats on The Spa Bridge four times a day.

Throughout the weekend the museum will welcome experts from universities, museums and societies who will reveal the world of dinosaurs and fossils.

Most events are free, but the dinosaur walk should be booked on 01723 353665.
