A PAIR of pupils at one York secondary academy are celebrating results success.

At Archbishop Holgate's CE Academy twins James and Thomas Larwood both achieved BTECs in business Diploma (D*D*) and IT Diploma (D*D*). They are going to York St John University to study games development.

Other notable results were: Megan Angell: BTECs in business Diploma (D*D*) and travel and tourism Diploma (D*D*). Megan has secured a full-time position in employment.

Matthew Brown: A-levels in history (A*), politics (A*), English literature (A*) and extended project qualification (A*). He is going to the University of Edinburgh to study politics.

Alisha Byers: A-levels in history (C), RE (A), sociology (B) and BTEC travel and tourism subsidiary Diploma (D*). She is going to the University of Bradford to study public health and community wellbeing.

Madison Clarke: A-levels in history (A), RE (A), theatre studies (A), and extended qualification project (A). She is going to Durham University to study theology.

Jeremy Collier: A-levels in psychology (A), RE (A), sociology (A*), and extended qualification project (A). He is going to Durham University to study law.

Eve Ferguson: A-levels in biology (A), chemistry (A), geography (A) and RE (A*). She is going to Durham University to study sociology.
