Thirsk market place.
THIRSK will be hosting its annual Bank Holiday Monday market later this month.
Hambleton District Council which runs the normal weekly markets in Thirsk is holding an "Open Market" on Monday, August 28.
The town's market was first established 1145.
Both regular and casual traders are being encouraged to pitch up and book a place for the Bank Holiday, as long as they have public liability insurance. For information or to book a stall ring Wendy Cullen, on 01609 767162 or email markets@hambleton.gov.uk.
