A HOUSEBUILDER is looking for a charity to support in Pocklington.
McCarthy and Stone, has launched a search for a local charity to support around Pocklington as its new retirement living development, Rogerson Court, on Scaife Garth in Pocklington, starts to take shape.
With construction well underway, McCarthy and Stone is looking to pledge its support to a neighbourhood project, charity or one-off event.
Community groups and local charities are urged to get in touch by emailing mccarthyandstone@mccann.com by midnight on Friday, September 2017 1, with ‘Pocklington Community Appeal’ in the subject header.
North East sales director Liz Green said they wanted to help future homeowners integrate into the community, and supporting local charities or neighbourhood projects would create a "positive legacy".
Rogerson Court will consist of 34 one and two bedroom apartments for people aged 60 and over, set in landscaped gardens.
