EXPERTS will be on hand to answer questions and offer advice on military memorabilia today.
The York Army Museum in Tower Street is hosting the free to enter roadshow, with doors opening at 10am.
The museum regularly receives inquiries from people asking about family heirlooms including medals and photographs of relatives who served in the Army in past conflicts.
Among those to answer questions from 11am to 2pm will be the York Army Museum team, experts from The National Army Museum, The Green Howards Museum, Leeds Armouries and Explore York Archives.
York-based Normandy veterans and veterans from Yorkshire regiments will also be speaking about their experiences.
Outside there will be a display by the East Yorkshire Regiment WW2 living history group and the Haworth Home Guard with free goody bags and crafts for children.
