A CGI of the new development
A NEW retirement living development in East Yorkshire has been named after an early 19th century scientist.
McCarthy and Stone is set to launch its new development in George Street, Pocklington, in December this year.
The developer has named the site Rogerson Court, in tribute to William Rogerson, who was born and raised in Pocklington, and was one of a group of notable self-taught astronomers from the area. Rogerson Court, which is currently under construction, will consist of 34 one and two bedroom apartments.
