NEW anti-dog fouling window stickers are being given out across Selby in the latest Don’t be a Waster – Reduce, Reuse, Respect initiative.
The stickers, which are on offer for homes near footpaths, are visible in the dark and encourage dog owners to clear up after their pets.
The stickers were first introduced in a partnership with Riccall Parish Council, which has also launched a Green Dog Walkers scheme to encourage responsible dog ownership.
Parish and town councils in Selby district which are interested in the stickers for use in their communities should email info@selby.gov.uk.
People who do not pick up after their dogs can be fined £75.
