AN INQUEST with a jury will be held into the death of a man near York.
Glen Brough, 36, of North Duffield, near Selby, shot himself and died on Sunday, August 28, 2016.
Police were called to New Road, in Escrick, and his body was found under nearby trees.
An inquest opened last year into his death, and heard North Yorkshire Police’s professional standards team investigated his death after the matter was referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission, then referred back to the force.
Coroner Rob Turnbull said yesterday (TUES), a jury will hear a full inquest by the end of the year.
