BEVERLEY Racecourse is set to stage a “Bark de Triomphe”dog race today to raise money for a York-based charity which is battling to help avert catastrophic antibiotic resistance.
The race, part of a circus-themed day dubbed Roll Up, Roll Up, will involve twelve dogs owned by jockeys and horse owners, with bets taken by course bookies and all the proceeds going towards Antibiotic Research UK (ANTRUK).
