A YORK home care company and four local residential homes, all owned and run by the same family, have been rated as ‘good’ following recent inspections.
Riccall Care, which provides home care in York and Selby, Apple Tree Care Home, in Strensall, Abbeylea Care Home, in Barlby, Westwood Care Home, in Selby and Riccall House Care Home, in Riccall, have received good ratings from the Care Quality Commission in the recent round of inspections.
The care company and the four care homes are owned and run by Gill and Tony Conroy.
Gill said: “I am so pleased and very proud of what we have achieved and I would like to pay a big tribute to our dedicated managers and their teams, as they continue to work hard and ensure high standards in our domiciliary care.” Riccall Care, which has offices at Escrick Business Park, employs more than 200 trained carers and operates four residential homes and two York-based day care centres.
