A MAN has been arrested in York on suspicion of burglary.
Police were called at around 10.30pm yesterday to Eldon Street, York, following reports of a man acting suspiciously in gardens.
Officers found a man "hiding in someone's garden having a scaled a few walls", North Yorkshire Police's York South team wrote on Twitter.
A spokesman for the force said a man in his 40s, from York, was arrested.
He currently remains in police custody while investigations continue, the spokesman added.
