THE global growth strategy of a US based software firm which has its development division in York, has been bolstered by a private equity investment.
StarCompliance, which provides compliance and regulatory software solutions for the financial services industry, has received an investment from Luminate Capital Partners, a San Francisco-based private equity firm.
StarCompliance’s software platform helps financial services institutions manage, prevent, detect, report and resolve employee conflicts of interest by monitoring employee activity such as personal trading, gifts and entertainment, political contributions and outside business activities.
The business, based in Maryland, has its research and development arm at York Science Park.
