A TADCASTER road is being altered to make it safer.
The county council is adding temporary chicane on to Toulston Lane, near the crossroads with Rudgate, in an bid to reduce the number of accidents after four serious collisions since November 2014, one of which was fatal. The new lane will be in place for six weeks to test speed reduction and could become permanent.
