TWO boys have been arrested over the vandalism at North York Moors Railway this weekend.
Police have confirmed the two 17 year old boys were arrested and have since been released under investigation. Officers still expect to make more arrests.
Seven train carriages at the heritage railway in Pickering were vandalised overnight between Saturday and Sunday.
Windows were smashed the carriages were severely damaged inside.
A police spokesman said enquiries are still going on, and they want anyone who has pictures from the incident to pass them on via email to general.enquiries@northyorkshire.police.uk.
Anyone with other information that could help should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and pass information to the Force Control Room.
