THE head teacher of Stamford Bridge Primary School says some procedures have been revised in the light of a mother’s complaint her daughter was refused a drink of water on one of the summer’s hottest days.Trudi Fitzhenry said water was “available to all children at all times”, and said the school had “addressed a complaint and dealt with it appropriately”. The Press reported how Bev Robinson, of Full Sutton, claimed her daughter Katy, 9, had become dehydrated after she could not find her water bottle and there were no cups available for the water dispenser.
